Over the past 4 years or so I've had only one time when the service was down, however, it did coincided with some upgrades on their end. Single domains start at around $5.00 but I use the basic reseller package, which allows unlimited domains, etc. They've always been very quick in reply to my support tickets. I use hostforweb.com.
