Yes it is kind of a wierd situation. When trying to explain logic on EQ2Flames it comes down to who has the nastier insult. Unfortunatly, our guild came out looking like the bad guy. It seems the other guild came out in droves in support of the banned player and made un-nessessary personal insults to the OP. Like a school yard mentallity that is our 70-79 chat most followed suit and took the banned players side, immediatly shutting down any effort on our part to defend ourselves with "yer dumb" comments.
It turns out the banned player wasn't banned for exploiting but mouthing off the the GMs.

First this is a X4 Epic mob, not meant for just two players to do, and boxed toons at that. I also don't care if they belonged to a ubar guild, they were exploiting the content. Question is how can a guild get a "Respected" rep when members exploit the game?

I won't go to that site and read, not in the mood to wade through pages of crap to get to the meat of this subject so I don't know if this Respected guild stuck up for their two exploiting members. To me a Respected guild plays by the rules, if they find exploits they report them, not use them. They do "fair play" with others on their server, and don't run in and gank a mob when others are also there.

I am also going to guess that with the number of GM's decending on this player, they have been looking to catch him in the act of exploiting.

That's pretty intense. I wish we had some game celebrities on any of my servers.
